This caption form developed as a variation of the “I can has (noun)?” caption form, and was made popular by the following lolcat.

Because many lolcats with this caption form are also in the motivational format, it’s common to see this caption form altered to “(noun): I has it”.

This caption form is also commonly associated with the following walrus macro (known as the Lolrus).
